Scholarship Details
The Ohio Soybean Association (OSA), the membership and policy arm for Ohio soybean farmers, offers two $1,000 scholarships each year to students of any major who have a strong interest in the soybean industry.
Applicants must be current full-time college, university, or technical school students, or high school seniors planning to enroll full-time. All majors are eligible, but candidates should show strong interest in the soybean industry and agricultural advocacy, along with leadership or involvement in ag-related organizations like FFA or 4-H. Applicants must be Ohio residents and either a Student or Young Adult Member (SYA) of the Ohio Soybean Association or the child/grandchild of a current member.
Scholarship funds go directly to the school for tuition, fees, and books. Recipients may reapply annually.
Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year will open on October 27th, 2025 and close on January 16th, 2026.

The Ohio Soybean Association is governed by a volunteer farmer board dedicated to education and promotion, as well as to uniting producer interest through support of legislative activities beneficial to the Ohio soybean industry.

Morgan Anderson, of Amanda, Ohio, is a junior at Ohio University studying Journalism: News & Information.
Ruth Beery, of Frankfort, Ohio, is a junior at Wilmington College majoring in animal science and biology.
