The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released its final total for U.S. agricultural exports in Fiscal Year 2014, which soared to a record $152.5 billion (up from last year’s record of $141 billion). Seven Ohio teachers brought 158 students to this year’s Farm Science Review (FSR) out in London, Ohio. Students participated in a soybean production-based scavenger hunt, solving clues and taking photos of various objects. River View High School has attended for many years, so teacher Allyssa McMullen jumped at the opportunity to win a trip sponsored by GrowNextGen. The Ohio Soybean Association (OSA) Board of Trustees recently made recommendations to amend the OSA bylaws.
